this post is over two years old but it still seems to get hits. it seems that the link above no longer works… so… i’ll post a few things here i’ve found recently on wood powered vehicles.

this is an article from Mother Earth News about wood gasification.

after WWII Toyota made 26,000 wood burning trucks in japan. there is more info and a photo here

i think most all of these are based on the wood gas generator described on wikipedia here

i’ll look for some more info as i get time.
